Today I want to tell the story of my black embroidered Converse … the beginning of my trip to New York!
I was still leaving in Milan in June 2009, just few days before to leave … I was in my apartment between my shoes and my embroidery… trying to find some inspiration… but mostly trying to figure out what to do with my life!
I had already started to “play” with a pair of shoes and apply the first crystals … a black decollete … it was my first pair, the beginning of something… the beginning of a revolution that i didn’t know it was already in action!
Few days before the” big” trip … I decided to bring with me my new decollete , but I wanted something that would always be with me during this adventure! … a comfortable pair that would allow me to walk for hours without any “suffering” ahahahahha … I had so many things and many places to discover!
… So…why not? Embroidering my only pair of black Converse, that would become my traveling shoes … fashion,cool,… people will notice me for sure and maybe I can meet someone interesting!:)
Crystals, flowers, bow… ready! …let’s the adventure begins!
… Today I can rename it ” the Cinderella Converse”!
… I arrived in New York with theme, we went everywhere and then … they came back in Italy with me… and with me again on the “famous” September 30th 2009, when i moved in the Big Apple!
and now where are they? what do they do? … They were part of my first fashion show in Manhattan, protagonists of photo shoots … and few days ago… part of an extraordinary project, but it’s a Secret … it will be a wonderful surprise soon 🙂

Oggi voglio raccontarvi la storia delle mie Converse nere ricamate…un altro elemento importantissimo dell’inizio del mio viaggio a New York!
Ero ancora a Milano nel mese di giugno 2009, pochi giorni prima la mia grande partenza…ero nel mio appartamento e mi aggiravo tra le mie scarpe e i miei ricami cercando di trovare un po’ di ispirazione ma sopratutto cercando di capire cosa fare della mia vita!
Avevo gia iniziato a “giocare” con un paio di scarpe e applicare i primi cristalli…un decollete’ nero…era il mio primo paio l’inizio di un qualcosa, l’inizio di una rivoluzione che non sapevo fosse davvero in atto!
Mancavano pochi giorni al grande viaggio…avrei portato con me le mie scarpe portafortuna, ma volevo qualcosa che potesse stare sempre con me durante quell’avventura! Mi serviva una scarpa comoda che mi permettesse di camminare per ore senza nessuna “sofferenza” ahahahahha…avevo tante cose e tanti luoghi da scoprire!
Mi dissi…perche’ no? Ricamare il mio unico paio di Converse nere che avevo, sarebbero diventate le mie scarpe da viaggio…fashion, le persone mi avrebbero iniziato a notare e magari avrei incontrato e parlato con qualcuno di interessante!…e cosi fu!
Cristalli,fiori,peline,fiocchi…pronte! e che l’avventura abbia inizio!
Oggi posso ribattezzarle…le Cinderella CONVERSE!
…Sono arrivata a New York con loro ai piedi, abbiamo girato…girato…girato…tornate in Italia con me e ripartite insieme quel famoso 30 settembre 2009, data del mio trasferimento definitivo nella grande mela!
ed ora dove sono?cosa fanno?…Hanno anche loro avuto una parte nella mia prima sfilata a Manhattan, protagoniste di servizi fotografici…e proprio in questi giorni hanno fatto parte di un progetto straordinario, del quale pero’ non posso ancora parlare! Top Secret…ma sara’ una bellissima sorpresa!:)
Le mie Cinderella CONVERSE sono solo le prime di una lunga serie!
