Stories of my journey as ‘The Cinderella of New York’…
In 2014 the Kilame Collection design by Pamela Quinzi was the protagonist of the Charity Gala sponsored by MTV for New York Fashion Week. The event was created by Prive Group, Sanjay Laforest, in collaboration with the Foundation “Hope for Them” created by Mike Jean to help people and children in Haiti.
On February 6th the exclusive event and Fashion Show took place at the “Highline Ballroom” very famous venue where in the past great artists such as: PAUL MCCARTNEY, LADY GAGA, RIHANNA, JUSTIN BIEBER, STEVIE WONDER, SANTANA performed.
On stage the models surrounded by a unique atmosphere, walked the runway. It was a dreamy moment, shoes and dresses with lace, embroideries and tulle were floating in the air. The collection was about pastel colors together with the elegant black. High heels, One of a Kind, very unique, enchanted the guests attending the event.
I remember the emotion when I came out at the end of the show thanking all the guests with a smile and sending a kiss to the sky, the Empire State Building was shinning with a red light that night, was really special. For me every season of New York Fashion Week is really magical and has a special place in my heart.
Such beautiful memories on my journey as The Cinderella of New York.
