In the dynamic world of high fashion, where storytelling and couture converge, Kriti Mainali is carving her unique space. The Nepali-American designer behind K R I T I is redefining luxury, blending heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary elegance into collections that resonate globally, from Dubai to New York, Milan, and beyond. Born in Nepal, Kriti grew up immersed in the rich textures and colors of South Asian textiles. Her earliest creations were humble, stitching tiny dresses for her dolls from old kurtis. While she initially pursued a corporate career in the United States, her passion for design never waned. What began as a personal hobby has now evolved into a brand celebrated for its cultural narrative and couture excellence.
A Journey Rooted in Heritage, Elevated Through Couture
Kriti’s designs are a seamless fusion of tradition and modernity. Drawing inspiration from cultures and landscapes she encounters on her travels, her collections celebrate bold silhouettes, dramatic capes, intricate beadwork, and impeccable draping, crafting a modern, global luxury aesthetic for the contemporary woman.

On the International Stage
Her first major breakthrough came at Emirates Fashion Week – Dubai, where her Palm Island–inspired collection, created in collaboration with Arni Fashion LLC, wowed audiences with its intricate storytelling and couture finish.
Now, Kriti is preparing to debut her full collection at New York Fashion Week 2026, produced by the esteemed Runway 7. She has also been invited to showcase her work at Milan Fashion Week 2026, cementing her presence on the international fashion scene.

Empowering the Diaspora Narrative
Beyond couture, Kriti has been a key creative force for Miss Nepal North America 2023 & 2024, earning acclaim for her craftsmanship and ability to highlight Nepali beauty through fashion.
K R I T I: Culture, Luxury & Empowerment
At the heart of the brand is a commitment to sustainable heritage craftsmanship. Every garment is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Nepal and India, many of them women supporting their families, preserving traditional embroidery and bringing South Asian stories to the forefront of global fashion.
Design Language: High-Fashion With Soul
Kriti’s couture pieces are adorned with beads, dabka, sequins, crystals, and hand-stitched motifs, turning each garment into wearable artistry that tells a story. Her clientele spans bridal clients, fashion influencers, diaspora brides, and couture collectors worldwide.
A Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Kriti plans to launch a flagship U.S. studio, expand her couture team, collaborate with international stylists, and bring Nepali craftsmanship to even more global platforms, including Paris Fashion Week.
